Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
Redclose collects only what we need to operate the service:
- Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account identifier through our authentication provider (Better Auth).
- Workspace inputs. The problem statement, solution, target-audience description, monitored subreddits, keywords, and notes you enter when configuring a workspace or annotating a lead.
- Public Reddit content. Posts and comments fetched from Reddit's public APIs that match your workspace criteria, including post text, author handle, subreddit, score, and permalink. We do not access private subreddits or Reddit direct messages.
- Billing data. Polar processes your payment information directly. We receive only your subscription status, customer identifier, and per-workspace billing reference — never your card number.
- Usage data. IP address, browser type, and interactions with the dashboard, collected for security, debugging, and aggregated analytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate Redclose: discover Reddit conversations that match your workspace, score them using AI, and present them in your CRM.
- Process your workspace inputs through our AI provider (NVIDIA NIM) to generate audience models and score lead candidates. Inputs are sent per-request; we do not knowingly permit any provider to use them to train third-party models.
- Authenticate your sessions and enforce per-workspace access controls.
- Process subscriptions through Polar and maintain workspace billing status.
- Communicate with you about your account, billing, security events, and material product changes.
- Investigate misuse, debug failures, and improve the Service.
3. Information Sharing & Subprocessors
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers strictly required to operate Redclose:
- Vercel — application hosting and analytics.
- Turso — primary database (libSQL).
- Polar — payments and subscription management.
- Better Auth & Google — authentication and OAuth sign-in.
Each provider acts on our instructions and is bound by its own data-protection terms. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Redclose, our users, or the public.
4. Data Security
We use HTTPS for all traffic, scoped access tokens for third-party services, and least-privilege access controls on our database. We never store Reddit or Google passwords. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your active workspace. We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregated traffic patterns. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may prevent you from signing in.
6. Data Retention
We retain your workspace inputs, generated audience models, and scored leads for as long as the workspace is active. If you delete a workspace, its leads are removed within 30 days. If you delete your account, all associated workspaces and leads are removed within 30 days, except minimal billing records we are required to retain for tax and accounting purposes.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Delete your account and associated workspace data.
- Export your workspace data in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the form linked below. We respond within 30 days.
8. Third-Party Services
Redclose links out to Reddit (for opening posts and the DM compose page), Polar (for managing your subscription), and Tally (for support). When you click through to these services, their own privacy practices apply to anything you do or submit there. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
9. Children's Privacy
Redclose is intended for business users and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and where the change is significant we will announce it inside the Service.
11. Contact
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or want to exercise a data right, please contact us.
